We do this by providing consumers more information and better guidance regarding lawyers and legal situations than they’ve ever had access to before. This includes rating and profiling every lawyer in the states we currently cover, client reviews, peer reviews and attorney disciplinary records. We also offer a robust question and answer forum and legal guides that help consumers get the help they need.
We are currently looking for a Senior User Experience Designer. We're looking for a designer with passion for creating usable consumer products, a desire to innovate, and who thrives working in a fast pace agile environment with really smart people. You will be responsible for creating the look and feel of the product, including defining scope, concept and design of wireframes, prototypes, and overseeing the design efforts of the design team. This role requires excellent communication, leadership and collaborative skills as you will be working directly with other Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers. You will apply your design expertise during concept, design, and implementation, bringing awareness of best practices and applying critical thinking to solve business and user problems.
To be considered, you must demonstrate product design and/or user interaction expertise and have professional experience delivering a web–based consumer software release. Ideal candidates will have experience with iterative/agile methodologies such as scrum, demonstrate a passion for user–centered design, and understanding of current technology trends and best practices.
Responsibilities:
· Define design goals, product requirements, and scope design efforts.
· Oversee design team schedule and manage design resource.
· Own all experience design and creative efforts from idea through implementation.
· Deliver compelling designs that meets general usability standards, is consistent with the product's interaction methodology and is visually compelling.
· Analyzing usage trends and traffic logs to understand user behaviors.
Requirements:
· Experience delivering a web–based consumer software release (agile methodology experience a plus).
· Expert knowledge of current web technologies and trends.
· Sophisticated design sensibility with emphasis on simplicity clean interface.
· Empathy for end users and outspoken advocate for customer needs.
· Able to work collaboratively across multiple functional teams.
· Deliver consistent design across multiple features.
· A decider. You value user feedback but don't need it to make a decision.
· Experience supervising other design resources.
· BA/BA degree required.
