New Business Development Associate at EVRI

September 11 - Seattle - Full–Time

Excited by working in, and helping create, an energetic, smart, fun & committed startup culture?  Evri www.evri.com is looking for a   New Biz Development Associate that can influence and help define our product vision and roadmap. 

 

Job summary:  The successful candidate will work closely with Business Development and Marketing to build content sourcing and product distribution relationships with media companies. The role requires internal work in identifying prospects and content sources, creating sales/promotion materials, help executing on an advertising strategy, and tracking status of negotiation with prospective partners.  There will be some external contact with media partners, PR agency and advertising partners. 

 Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Work closely with VP, Business Development to identify potential media partners for Evri products. 
 
  • Responsible for initial outreach to prospective partners, and to support VP, BD with meeting follow up and status reporting.
 
  • Work internally with Evri marketing and design teams to prepare promotion materials for Evri media partner prospects.
 
  • Assist in strategy and decision making for adding additional content sources for Evri to index, both free and licensed content. 
 
  • Work with VP BD to execute an advertising strategy designed to drive traffic to Evri entity pages. 
 
  • Track performance on advertising and report results to management.
 
  • Coordinate advertising activities on Evri pages with VP BD.  (this can evolve over time, to include media partner ads, Evri sold ads, or 3rd party sold advertising on Evri pages). 
 Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with past start–up companies making contacts, networking and initiating new partner contacts.
  • Ability to make presentations when necessary
  • Able to create presentations on Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Working Knowledge salesforce.com  a plus
 Working Relations: 

Internal:  Business Development, Marketing, Product team

External:  Prospective and current media partners, Advertising partners, Evri PR firm

 
Education:

BS degree a must, preferably in Business or Marketing
