A New 4-Month Entrepreneurship Training in Seattle

The Founder Institute is an organization created by Adeo Ressi, creator of theFunded, to help entrepreneurs in a 4-month long training program. This program already existed in the Bay Area, San Diego and Washington DC before Seattle.

The program will run from December 7 to April 5 and include mentorship from Glenn Kelman, CEO of Redfin, Derrick Morton, CEO of FlowPlay, and Bryan Starbuck, CEO of TalentSpring among others. This will be a great opportunity for the newbie entrepreneur to learn about what it takes to build a successful company. It’s like StartupDay, but instead of compressing it all in a day, it will give you a much more in-depth view of each topic. It’s a long commitment, but if you can’t commit to 4-months of training, you probably don’t have what it takes to be an entrepreneur anyway.

Chris Early, who’ll operate the Founder Institute in Seattle through FounderWise, will be hosting an informational event November 2nd, 2009 at the University of Washington. You can register it here for the free informational event. The application deadline to be part of the training is November 27 and you can apply it here and it costs $50.
